A garda investigation is underway after the body of a man in his 40s was found at a house in the Phibsboro area of Dublin at about 2 o'clock this afternoon.
Gardaí were called to a home in Auburn Street, and officers are currently investigating all the circumstances surrounding his death.
The scene is currently preserved and the services of the Technical Bureau have been requested.
The coronor and Office of the State Pathologist have been notified.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted on the deceased; the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.
