Gardaí found him covered in blue paint.
A man in his 20s has been charged in connection with a burglary at a premises in Cork City last night.
At around 9pm Gardaí received reports of a man climbing up scaffolding on South Mall.
There they found him covered in blue paint in the reception area.
The man was arrested and brought to Bridewell Garda Station, he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 and has since been charged.
He is due to appear before Mallow District Court this morning.
