A 17-year-old boy is on trial for the murder of Azzam Raguragui (18).

A witness has told a Dublin murder trial he heard someone laughing after a teenage boy was stabbed.

A 17-year-old boy, who can’t be named due to his age, is on trial for the murder 18-year-old Azzam Raguragui in a Dundrum park last year, a charge which he denies.

This trial is now in its eighth day and today has been hearing from two more teenage witnesses who were at Finsbury Park on the 10th of May 2019.

One boy agreed that ‘all hell had broken loose’ when a fight broke out among two groups of boys.

He described how he saw Azzam Raguragui running up a hill and holding his chest while the accused was following him.

He said he saw blood on Azzam’s hands and chest.

Another teenage witness said he saw Azzam on the floor kicking at the accused who had a knife in his hand and he got stabbed twice in the leg.

He described Assam’s group as ‘Arabs’ and told the jury he heard someone from the group laughing on the phone after the stabbing - saying ‘Azzam got stabbed.’
