Gardai in Blanchardstown are appealing for anyone who was in the Porterstown Park area of Castleknock, especially taxi drivers, to contact them.
The boys were assaulted and had property stolen during the incident.
Gardai are also trying to identify a dark, hatchback car which was parked outside the car park.
