The First and Deputy First Ministers have written an open letter to the people of Derry and Strabane.
There have been 669 new cases of Covid 19 in the North in the last 24 hours.
One new death has also been recorded.
The figures come as the First and Deputy First Ministers have written an open letter to the people of Derry and Strabane. Arlene Foster and Michelle O'Neill say the number of cases there have reached a level that requires intervention.

They've written to the people there saying new restrictions will be imposed to stop the spread of the virus.
The area has a seven-day Covid-19 incidence rate of more than 530 - much higher than any other area in Northern Ireland. People there are encouraged to self-isolate and book a test once they get any symptoms.
