The weather is taking a slight turn for the better.
After summer came racing out of the blocks, the last coupe of weeks haven't been so ideal.
But it looks as though we're set for a reprieve later this week, if the forecast from Met Éireann is anything to go by.
Tomorrow is set to see things brighten up a bit, before temperatures as high as 25 degrees roll in on Thursday.
Here's how it looks.
Wednesday: Things will begin to warm up on Wednesday, with a mostly cloudy start and some further patchy light rain and drizzle in places.
Overall, there will be a lot of dry weather with good sunshine in most areas during the day, with highest temperatures of 18 to 23 degrees generally but a degree or two cooler along Atlantic coasts.
Thursday: The pick of the bunch with warm sunny spells, and highest temperatures of between 20 and 25 degrees. It'll it will be a mostly dry day, with some isolated showers developing during the day.
Friday: Wont be so great however...showers will track northwards, mainly affecting the eastern half of the country with a continued risk of heavy and thundery downpours with spot flooding.
The showers will clear during the evening but rain will then begin to move in from the west, affecting all areas overnight.
Saturday: The weekend at this stage is looking cooler with showers coming in from the Atlantic, merging into longer spells of rain on Saturday. Highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees in moderate to fresh southerly winds..
Sunday: Showers will continue to move in from the Atlantic on Sunday but they will be lighter and more scattered. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees.
But the good news is, current indications suggest that the start of next week will be more settled with mostly dry conditions. Here's hoping that lasts a while!
