It's a whole new world!
Disney's finally announced the cast of the Aladdin live-action remake.
Will Smith will play the Genie in the Guy Ritchie movie, a role voiced brilliantly by the late Robin Williams in the 1992 hit animation.
Power Rangers star Naomi Scott will play the part of Jasmine, while relatively unknown actor Mena Massoud will take on the lead as Aladdin.
So honored & grateful for the opportunity to help bring this magical story to life once again. Let's get to work! #Aladdin #Disney https://t.co/itxmiDHtLL

There was much demand by fans online for Middle Eastern and Asian actors, and it looks like Disney's followed through.
Mena's Egyptian-Canadian, while British actress and singer Naomi is of Indian descent.
The movie will be a musical and is reported to be released in 2019.
All together now - 'I can show you the world!'
