Michael Moore reckons Gwen Stefani is to blame for the Trump presidency.
In an interview ahead of his upcoming documentary Fahrenheit 11/9, the filmmaker claimed that Donald Trump ran for president because he was jealous of the No Doubt singer.
The 64 year old alleges that Trump only announced his candidacy after he discovered NBC paid Gwen more money to join The Voice than they paid him to star in The Apprentice.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael said the president staged his Trump Tower campaign announcement to prove that he was worth more money:
"He'd been talking about running for president since 1988, but he didn't really want to be president.
There's no penthouse in the White House. And he doesn't want to live in a black city. He was trying to pit NBC against another network, but it just went off the rails."
