The rumour mill was in full-swing last week with talk of the Spice Girls getting back together.

Although speculation has been rife for years, fuel was added to the fire in a whole new way when an official photo of four of the five girls surfaced online.

Posh doesn't appear to be taking part, although reports today do suggest she will still make a lot of money from it, as she owns an equal stake in the Spice Girls brand, according to reports.

Although the rumours that Posh won't be getting involved have disappointed some, the feeling online is mainly just pure joy and positivity, with one fan writing, "Listen, we did four in the ‘Forever’ era, we’ll take four now. And I say that as someone whose favourite has always been Posh. So we’ll buy the tickets, we’ll overspend on merch and smash some more records. Why? Coz we’re fans, godammit, that’s just what we do."

The Spice Girls have sold an astounding 85 million records globally, with their 1996 debut single "Wannabe" hitting number one in 37 countries.
The girls undoubtedly revolutionized pop and remain, in 2018, the biggest female group ever. Their influence went beyond music though - they had stellar cultural impact too.

Fans have been ecstatic since an official photo of four of the five girls went online.

Their stadium tour will see them perform 6 shows across the UK from next June, with no Irish date in the mix. It's not known if any Irish date(s) will be announced.

June 1st - Manchester - Etihad Stadium

June 3rd - Coventry - Ricoh Stadium

June 6th- Sunderland - Stadium of Light

June 8th - Edinburgh - BT Murrayfield Stadium

June 10th - Bristol - Ashton Gate Stadium

June 15th - London - Wembley Stadium

Jess Glynne will join the girls on tour.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday at 10.30am.

The Spice Girls last performed together at the closing ceremony of the Olympics in 2012.
