Back in March of this year, the Swedish House Mafia (Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso & Steve Angello) made a surprise one off reunion set to close the Ultra Music Festival, in Miami.

They had been on a hiatus, and had played their last set together there in Miami five years previous. Axwell & Ingrosso stayed together & Steve Angello went on to do his own solo tracks.

A few weeks ago, Axwell & Ingrosso played a gig in New Year, and hinted that they would come back to New York in 2019, which sparked rumours that the Swedish House Mafia would get back together properly next year and do a tour. Steve Angello has just confirmed this amazing news!

Steve did an interview with Swedish publication 'Sydsvenskan', and when asked about the rumours, he said "It's happening, obviously," he answered in response to a question about the rumors.

"Not all the details are set, but we will be back in 2019."

The last time that they played together in Ireland as a trio was 2012

(What a great group of Support Acts)

Hopefully they do at least one gig in Ireland next year, and while we're wishing for stuff, some new SHM tracks would be great too.

You can catch Steve Angello in Ireland this year however, when he plays alongside Martin Garrix in Belfast on Saturday the 25th of August. Support comes from Zara Larsson.
