Canadian Singer/Songwriter Shawn Mendes is killing it at the moment in the Music industry,
he's won so many awards recently including two at the MTV VMAs last weekend.
He is ready to make the jump to the big screen as an actor.
He has recently started to take acting lessons & has been reading through some scripts that are sent to him & his agent.
He said "Finding the right role is the right role. It's not about the type of film, or whatever, but yeah, I want to do it soon."
He's currently on tour at the moment, and is playing 2 dates in Ireland in 2019... Saturday the 13th & Sunday the 14th of April.
Maybe he will have to wait until he's finished this tour before he starts acting?
Some fans in Pittsburgh bought Tickets for his gig for August 6th, but didn't realise until they got to the empty venue, that the tickets are actually for August 6th 2019.
