Shane Lynch's stint in CBB could help Boyzone top the charts this year

Boyzone's Shane Lynch will enter the all-female Celebrity Big Brother house tonight.

The singer's set for a busy year as the band's gearing up for their 25th anniversary tour, as well as the release of a new album.

A source has told the Irish Sun that Shane signed up for the show with the blessing of his bandmates.

"Shane going on CBB is going to provide Boyzone's 25th anniversary tour with a massive boost. It will introduce Shane and Boyzone to a new younger audience of TV viewers and could help them top the charts in 2018."

Celebrity Big Brother kicked off on Tuesday will an all-female line-up. Shane will go into the house tonight alongside ex-footballer John Barnes, Love Island's Jonny Mitchell and controversial comedian Dapper Laughs.
