The American Music Awards took place on Sunday night, and former 1D bandmates Niall and Zayn shared a particularly quick and awkward handshake.
The video shows Niall strolling towards Zayn, who is slumped down in his seat on the front row, and offering a quick handshake as he walks past. Ahead of the awards Niall said: ‘I haven’t spoken to him in a few months… and haven’t seen him in a while, so I’m looking forward to seeing him.’
