Coppers...the home to millions of love stories
Ireland's most famous night club is getting its own musical.
Copper Face Jacks: The Musical is the brainchild of Ross O'Carroll Kelly creator Paul Howard.
Opening in the Olympia Theatre on July 5th, the puppet-based play is a love story set on the eve of a Dublin Kerry All Ireland Final.
It tells the tale of a sweet Kerry girl, who’s moved to the Big Smoke for her dream job in The VHI, but ends up falling head over flat shoes with a member of the Dublin team.
It's being described as "Moulin Rouge with slow sets"!
Tickets for Copper Face Jacks: The Musical went on sale this morning and producers are offering 100 free tickets to Gardaí and nurses working through Storm Emma.
The free tickets are to an exclusive preview at the Olympia.
Any guards or nurses who want to bag free tickets are asked to tweet a photo of themselves working during the storm to @CoppersMusical using the hashtag #CoppersMusical.
In a small gesture of appreciation to the amazing work done by our Garda & Nurses working through the storm we are giving them 100 free tickets to a special preview of our Olympia bound show. Just tweet a working pic to us here using the hashtag #CoppersMusical pic.twitter.com/1IIBzdizgU
