Lana Del Rey is being sued by Radiohead over her new song.
Radiohead are chasing 100% of the profits from Lana Del Rey's new song 'Get Free', which they feel plagiarises their 1993 smash hit 'Creep.'
Responding to the lawsuit Del Rey tweeted the following:
“It’s true about the lawsuit. Although I know my song wasn’t inspired by Creep, Radiohead feel it was and want 100% of the publishing – I offered up to 40 over the last few months but they will only accept 100. Their lawyers have been relentless, so we will deal with it in court.”
Radiohead are yet to comment on the lawsuit.
Plagiarism has been a hot topic in the music industry of late, with Ed Sheeran (twice) and Robin Thicke recently forced to hand over royalties for songs that were deemed plagiarised.
In an ironic twist, Radiohead themselves were once sued over Creep by Albert Hammond and Mike Hazlewood, who wrote 'The Air That I Breathe' for the Hollies. Their names were subsequently added to the song's credits and they now currently share royalties with Radiohead.

Or are Radiohead hearing something that isn't there?
