Ed Sheeran has become one of the most famous musicians on the planet in recent years. He is currently on tour in Asia and was in Osaka in Japan when he was playing at the 55 thousand capacity Kyocera Dome. He wanted to be able to have a walk around and see the sights without people knowing it was him. There wouldn't be too many red heads in Japan so he would've stuck out like a sore thumb.
He decided to wear a Giant Panda costume while walking around. Obviously that would draw attention but nobody would know it was him. It was 24 degrees and we're sure it felt even warmer with a big panda head on your head. He popped into a small shop for a minute, so he could take off the head and get some air.

Of course when he went into the shop and took off his Panda head, people instantly recognised him and asked for selfies. He's such a nice guy that he said yeah, no problem and got in the pictures. The city of Osaka has a massive population (about 2.6 million people live there) so at least he didn't have to get a selfie with them all.
Ed Sheeran was working with a Massive Boyband recently. You can read more about that HERE.
We'd love to see him playing in Ireland again soon. He played here last year to nearly 400,000 people on his Irish Tour that included Galway, Dublin, Cork & Belfast. Maybe he'd bring his Panda suit with him, or maybe he has a different costume for every country that he goes to? Come back to Ireland soon Ed.
