Ed Sheeran fans had a stressful morning trying to buy tickets to his seven Irish shows next year.

Tickets to the gigs in Galway, Dublin, Belfast and Cork went on sale at 9am, but many people had to wait hours in a virtual queue to purchase them.
Fans of the singer-songwriter took to social media to vent their frustration.
The Ed Sheeran tickets are probably sold out and @TicketmasterIre still has me looking at this.... pic.twitter.com/5nVUPiETCv

I have been in the same queue for almost 80 minutes. Husbands queue timed out after 60 minutes. Its madness!

Some complained that the queue system wasn't working.
I'm in a virtual queue yet someone just logged on and got two tickets. Something not right.

All of Ed's Irish dates have sold out, bar one.
There are still a limited number of tickets available for Dublin's Phoenix Park on May 16th.
Over 300,000 tickets were sold today so far, the highest number of tickets sold by an artist in Ireland in one day.
Go Ed!
