The singer is the latest recipient of the GLAAD Vanguard Award, which is given to celebrities who have worked to promote equality for the LGBTQ community.
Ricky Martin presented Britney with the award, describing her as an "ally" of the gay community, fighting for acceptance in her own way.
And that's not the only thing Britney has to celebrate at the moment - her sister Jamie Lynn has given birth to her second child, who she has named Ivey.
Britney has shared her congratulations on Twitter.
