Galway's Brendan Murray is through to the next round of live shows in the X Factor.
The former Hometown singer was saved by the public vote after his stunning rendition of R.E.M's Everybody Hurts.
The Tuam native, who turns 22 on Friday, is being mentored by 1D star Louis Tomlinson.

Week after week, Brendan has been blowing the crowd away with his performances but his dad Frank told iRadio that he won't allow fame go to his son's head.
Speaking to Garry and Fionnuala on The Lift, Frank said he thinks judge Simon Cowell has been "very fair" and that Brendan has to take his comments on board.
"Simon Cowell is a very experienced man. He knows his music inside out, he's been a long time in the business. His comments have to be taken on board and listened to. Simon didn't like some of them (Brendan's song choices) and he's quite right to say it."
Frank said no matter how good he thinks his son is, his fate is in the hands of the public.
"You're not allowed the luxury of thinking that you're better than anybody else. The public at large will tell you how good you are. (We'd) love to see (Brendan) be a massive success, or a great success, but the public have the votes."
"He had a stinker there one weekend, it was a sing-off you know, and we thought he'd be back home to us again and back plumbing."
