Sunrise Up Croagh Patrick continues until June 27th.
Three charities are set to benefit from a fundraiser that's asking people to climb the equivalent of Mayo's most famous mountain.
The virtual Sunrise Up Croagh Patrick continues until this Saturday, June 27th, and is in aid of the Huntington's Disease Association of Ireland, Parkinson's Association and the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
The event's founder John Kelly explains how it works:
"Our challenge to you is to complete 27,000 steps, the equivalent of a Croagh Patrick climb. Walk, run dance, climb your stairs, or whatever way you choose, but please follow public health COVID-19 guidelines. Do it before June 27th, post it on social media using #sunriseupcroaghpatrick and tag or challenge five others to do the same."
