Performance slots at the Night and Day Festival are on offer for the winning four acts
The inaugural Night and Day festival takes place this September in the stunning surrounds of Clonalis House.
Falling on the Autumn Equinox, the line-up includes headliners Villagers, John Grant and the Zutons.
As part of the festival, organisers held a song contest with performance slots at the festival on offer for the winning four acts.
Speaking on iRadio’s iLove Irish, festival co-founder Craig Hughes said;
“Of the 80 entries we received, we whittled it down to a shortlist of 20 acts for our judging panel to pick their top 4 finalists.
The quality of the shortlist was so strong and there was very little between the acts so it was a really difficult decision for the judges.”
He went on to reveal the top 4 acts and songs (in no particular order)
Rossa Murray and the Blowin’ Winds - Chloe
Patrick Stefan – Head Voices
Danny G and the Major 7ths - Believing
Barefoot on Carpet – Run of the Mill
The top 4 finalists will all have the opportunity to play at Night and Day Festival this year.
