Born in Nigeria, Jean-Luc Uddoh or JyellowL as he's better known has called Ireland home since he was a young teenager.
Having struck a deal with his Mum to sit the Leaving Cert, JyellowL went on to complete a degree in politics in UCD.
Since then, his career has been going from strength playing massive gigs at Longitude and Body&Soul and his music has been featured on FIFA20 and Normal People.
Here he chats to Kayte about political ambition, inspiring young teenagers and trying to hop the fence into Longitude.
