Mass Sing Along

When an Irish sports team wins a big game it's usually off to the pub to celebrate and fill the trophy with some beer.

But Sean O'Mahony's GAA club from county Louth decided to celebrate in another public space - the local church.

The footballers won their first ever Louth Senior title, beating St Mary's by two points and at the invite of Father Michael, appeared at Sunday mass to show off their shiny new trophy.

In typical Irish fashion, their appearance at mass included a sing sonn introduction from the priest wearing a club jersey and a raucus sing song of Grand Auld Team.

Now that is how you celebrate!
