The moment that no one has been waiting for. The official release date for Toy Story 4 has been announced and it's due to hit our screens on the 21st of June, 2019.
Pixar broke the news on their Toy Story Facebook page with a simple picture of the number 4 made out of sticky-notes captioned 'Reach for the post-it! Toy Story 4 comes to theatres on June 21, 2019.'
Not many people are impressed with the news however, saying there was a very satisfying, well-rounded end to the franchise with the third film.
One Facebook user said, "No one asked for this. Toy Story 3 ended perfectly and now they're just going to undo that perfect ending with a continuation of the story. As much as I love Toy Story, I wish they'd leave well enough alone."
While another reckons Pixar are just milking it for the money, "Toy Story is my favorite Pixar film. Don't screw up by trying to squeeze every penny from this. Just leave it alone."
One good thing to come from all of this though is that Randy Newman will return to soundtrack the latest installment.
