Clever marketing to be fair
If you've yet to make the leap over to TikTok, you're probably wondering what all the excitement revolves around. It's mostly people lip-syncing, doing sketches and dancing.
American rapper Lil Uzi Vert has obviously got an account on TikTok because he's very cleverly launched a trend on the social media app which involves both his own dance and song.
In November Uzi took to Twitter to tease his upcoming single and to show off his new Futsal Shuffle.

The twenty second clip already has over 5 million plays and the tweet itself has been liked over 200,000 times.
A couple of days ago Lil Uzi Vert made the most out of the hype surrounding the dance by releasing the song in its entirety.

We're not too sure how much this will catch on here in Ireland, but we're about to find out...
