Sitting down to Home Alone and Home Alone 2 are without doubt one of our favourite traditions this time of year!
The beautiful home that becomes young Kevin McCallister's playground is actually in a place called Winnetka, north of Chicago. It's a stunning house that was sold in 2012 for over $1.5 million.
Much of the movie was filmed at the house instead of a studio, but the inside looks a lot different now than it does to the early 90s! From the master bedroom to the kitchen where Kevin McCallister realised he was home alone, several rooms bear no resemblance to that so many of us came to know and love.
