Frank Kelly, known to many for playing Father Jack Hacket on Father Ted has died. According to The Journal, he had survived bowel cancer in 2011 and was treated for skin cancer last year.
Coincidentally, it was this day 18 years ago that his colleague on Father Ted Dermot Morgan passed away. He is survived by his wife Bairbre, 7 children and 17 grandchildren.
