It's expected bidding to be the host city of the Eurovision will be very competitive.
The UK will now host the 2023 contest on behalf of this year's winner, Ukraine.
Host city bidding begins this week, with representatives in several cities interested.
These include London, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and Sheffield.
Journalist and Eurovision super fan, Scott Reid, says Belfast is also on the list.
"Belfast are in the mix alongside a lot of cities. It's fair to say there's a lot of interest."
"Your lead ones at the moment are basically Glasgow, Manchester and London."
Ukraine's The Kalush Orchestra scooped the Eurovision prize this year.
Sam Ryder, representing the UK, came in second with his song 'Space Man'.
