Things are about to shake up in the villa!
From ITV StudiosOn Love Island last night, it was revealed that new boy Danny had chosen Yewande to go on a date with him. Yewande arrives at the date and Danny is keen to hear about how Yewande is enjoying Love Island so far.
Yewande says “It’s good. Everyone is just getting on with everyone. We’re all just like one big family.”
Danny asks “What is your favourite food? If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?”
Yewande replies “Chinese food.”
Danny says “That was the right answer. That is something we have got in common straight away.”
The conversation turns into what types they normally go for. Danny asks Yewande “What guy would you normally go for?”
Yewande says “Tall. Athletic.”
Danny says “I’m quite tall. I’m 6ft2.”
Yewande says “That’s good! Someone who is genuine, honest and you can have a normal conversation with. Good vibes.”
Danny says “I like to think I tick a lot of those boxes.”
Yewande says “I think you do too.”
It looks as if Danny has set Yewande’s pulse racing but she won’t be the only girl meeting Danny for a date today.
Back at the villa the Islanders are relaxing in the garden and Amber receives a text. She reads: “Amber. Freshen up. Danny would like to take you on a date. Please get ready to leave the villa. #talkofthetoon #dantheman”
Amber arrives at her date with Danny and the pair get to know each other and talk about what they’re looking for in a partner. Amber says “So, what is your type?”
Danny says “Someone who is ambitious and someone who has their own goals in life. Someone who is not scared to make themselves look silly.”
Amber jokes “Have I made myself look silly?”
Danny replies “No! I mean people who are really serious. I haven’t got time for that.”
Amber agrees “I don’t like to take myself too seriously either.”
Another Girl Takes A Fancy To Danny
From ITV StudiosYewande and Amber aren't the only girls in the villa with an eye for Danny. While he gets to know the other boys, the girls head to the terrace for a gossip and debrief with Amber about her date with Danny.
Molly-Mae asks Amber “Do you think he is fit?”
Amber replies “He is a good-looking guy, yeah.”
Molly-Mae says “I think he is gorgeous.”
Later that evening Molly-Mae wastes no time in getting to know Danny. She tells him “I’m actually really looking forward to having a chat with you because I feel like we’re going to get on.”
Molly-Mae talks about Tommy “The issue I’ve got at the moment is that I’m very attracted to him. I think he is a gorgeous boy. I just feel like he is in ‘Tommy Land’ and I’m trying to get my way into it. Maybe I need to get into ‘Danny Land’?”
It isn’t long before Tommy picks up on the fact that Molly-Mae is making a play for Danny. Are Molly-Mae and Tommy already on the rocks? And after going on a date with both Yewande and Amber and spending time with Molly-Mae, which of the girls will take Danny’s fancy?
Amy and Curtis Have A Cheeky Shift
From ITV StudiosAmy and Curtis continue to grow closer on tonights episode and that evening they're having a chat in the garden before they both then lock lips and have a sneaky kiss. Curtis is covered in lipstick and the pair head to the bathroom to clean up their faces. In the bathroom Amy says “We might as well have one more kiss before we wipe it all off.”
Michael Tries Things On With Amber
From ITV StudiosMichael has been playing it cool with Amber but after Danny chose her to go on a date with him, he’s starting to feel the heat. Speaking with Curtis on the day beds, he says “He’s basically taken the girl that I am coupled up with [Yewande] and the girl that I’m interested in [Amber].”
Curtis says “Would you prefer one of the dates to go better than the other?”
Michael replies “I want to see Yewande happy so obviously I want to see that date go better. That would then leave me in good stead with Amber.”
In the evening, once Amber has returned from her date, she’s keen to have a chat with Michael to find out how he feels. Michael says he understands why Danny chose her for a date. He says “If I came in, you would be my first option.”
In the Beach Hut, Amber says “Every other boy in the villa lays it on thick, it’s called factor fifty thick, apart from Michael. He’s very chilled and low-key which I think I’m more attracted to. He lays his cards on the table a little bit but also keeps them close to his chest. You’re not really sure what’s going on and I quite like that.”
As Amber continues to play things cool, the question on Michael’s mind is she interested in him or new boy Danny?
