Ever been catfished?

The popular MTV show 'Catfish' is looking for Irish people to take part.
The show helps people discover who they've been chatting to online. It originally started in the US in 2012 and now, they're looking for people to get involved in the UK adaptation.
The Irish Sun reports that producers are on the hunt for Irish people to partake in the latest series.
They're looking for people who "have fallen for someone using a fake profile, never had a video call or met in person or those who are keeping a secret from their online date."
They added that:
"Whether someone is worried that they’re in love or friends with a catfish or would like to come clean to the person they’re catfishing, we can help them."
You must be over 18 to be considered for the show. You can apply via the MTV website.
