Jay Z is caught up in a major legal battle.
The rapper and his music streaming service Tidal are being sued for not paying royalties to a band.
The more than €4,000,000 case is being brought forward by John Emanuele from the American Dollar, who claims Tidal streamed more than a hundred of the band's songs without paying them anything.
According to the Jasmine Brand, the lawsuit also claims Tidal may have undercut its payments to artists and used faulty numbers, even though Tidal doesn't give out stats to the public or the artists themselves.
