The actress has pulled out of an appearance to switch on the lights in Kettering.
She had agreed to do the job by way of an apology, after she criticised Kettering for voting for Brexit, but she pulled out at the last minute.
Cheryl Fergison, who played Heather Trott in EastEnders, was on hand to do the job instead.
