The Ad focuses on a heartwarming story featuring a child and his surprising new friend.

The John Lewis annual Christmas advert aims to pull on your heartstrings.

The Guardian reports the Ad features a young boy and his friendship with a carnivorous plant.

It also features the song 'Festa' composed by Italian duo Le Feste Antonacci and performed by Andrea Bocelli.

The Oxford Mail reports that song was especially composed for the John Lewis campaign.

Other successful John Lewis Christmas adverts include the 'Man on the Moon' (2015), 'Excitable Edgar' (2019), and 'Buster the Boxer' (2016.)
