Jennifer Aniston loved her time playing the character of Rachel Green in the hit TV Show Friends. However, she's recently revealed one thing that she didn't like about working on the show.
The actress thought that all of the main six characters should get paid the same amount. She claims that she was paid more than some of her other co-stars and it made her feel uneasy.
Speaking to Radio Times she said:
"I'm aware that I have had a pretty easy time in terms of my experience in the business but even back on Friends, it wasn't so much about women being paid the same as men – some of the women were being paid more"
"It was more about, 'We’re doing equal work and we all deserve to be compensated in the same way.'
"I wouldn’t feel good going to work knowing someone was getting x amount and I was getting something greater."
Themes of equality in the workplace takes centre stage in Jennifer’s new series, The Morning Show, which will premiere on Apple TV when it launches on November 1st.
She also stars alongside Reese Witherspoon in the show.
