And younger people are especially feeling it

The current series of RTÉ's 'Reeling in the Years' has broken all records, and is now the most popular edition ever.

The sixth season is moving through the decade starting from 2010.

It's been watched more, on average, than any other season so far.

The show draws in an audience of 520,000 people when it airs on Sundays, with another 250,000 streams on the Player.

It's been most popular for people aged between 15 to 34.

That's most likely because that age group would remember those 10 years quite well!

The highlights from the past seven episodes included the uproar over Garth Brooks at Croke Park, Katie Taylor winning gold in the Olympics and Rihanna not being let shoot a video in a Northern Irish farmer's field.

Catch the series on RTÉ One at 8.30pm on Sunday evenings.
