He is making a slow but steady recovery.

Lady Gaga’s dog walker has shared an update that he has left hospital.

He had part of his lung removed as a result of being shot when the singer’s French bulldogs were stolen.

Ryan Fischer was walking three of Lady Gaga's pets near Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood when the incident happened.

Two men jumped out of a car and tried to steal the animals on the 24th of February.

Fischer was shot once and two of the dogs were taken.

At the time, Lady Gaga offered a reward of $500,000 (€425,000) for their return.

They were later returned unharmed by a woman thought not to be involved.

He said on Instagram that he felt he was recovering quickly but there were some concerns during his time in hospital.

At one point, some hospital staff had said they didn't think he would make it.

He tried to remain positive throughout his admission and is now recovering.
