Warner Bros would like to make more Harry Potter films, as long as JK Rowling is up for it.

That's according to The Hollywood Reporter, who say that the series author is instrumental in making the decision on whether to extend the franchise.

Eight Harry Potter films were made based on Rowling's magical book series by Warner Bros throughout the early noughties.

The films, starring Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson,  grossed over $7.7 billion.

Rowling has been previously involved in the making of the Fantastic Beasts franchise with Warner Bros, as well as the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child which debuted in 2016.
