He might be regarded as one of the gents of the showbiz world but Ed Sheeran has revealed in a recent tell all interview that he once was a little worse for wear and hit Justin Beiber in the face with a golf club.
Speaking about his new album ÷ (Divide), Ed has revealed that him and the Beibs were on a night out in Japan and ended up at a golf course. Beiber, who was on water for the night, lay on the floor and put a golf ball in his mouth and told him to hit it out of his mouth. Ed swung and managed to crack the Canadian in the face with the club. Ed says the sound of the dull thud was a bit sickening and it was definitely a ‘What the f**k?’ moment.
It isn't the first time Sheeran has got into a bit of trouble with a fellow musician. Earlier this year, Princess Beatrice accidentally cut his cheek when a party prank went wrong as she was pretending to "knight" singer James Blunt with a ceremonial sword.
Sheeran's eagerly anticipated third studio album, ÷ (Divide), has been just been released today and features two "full-on Irish trad songs" about Galway and Wexford.
