Brothers Curtis and AJ Pritchard were assaulted on St Stephen's night in Cheshire.
Dancing with the Stars pro-dancer Curtis Pritchard was involved in an incident on 26 December 2018.
As a result of the injuries sustained, he will not have recovered in time for the launch of the new series, which will air 6 January 2019.

Pro-dancer Curtis Pritchard won't be returning for the launch of the new series of Dancing with the Stars.
His withdrawal is due to injuries sustained in an incident on St Stephen's night.
Witnesses say the professional dancer and his brother were beaten by by a gang of eight thugs in Nakatcha nightclub in Cheshire while on a night out.
According to reports in the Irish Mirror, AJ was left with marks on his face, left behind by rings worn by his attackers while Curtis will need surgery to fix bad damage to his knee.
The launch of the new series of Dancing with the Stars is due to air on the 6th of January.
Dancing with the Stars wish Curtis a speedy recovery.
A replacement for Curtis on the show is currently being arranged by ShinAwiL and we look forward to welcoming Curtis back when he recovers.
