A new dating series based in the Gaeltacht is coming to Virgin Media

The Emerald Isle is getting its own take on a summer dating series based in the Gaeltacht.

Virgin Media Television is launching the series based in a Gaeltacht where singletons will have to couple up with their Irish.

'Grá ar an Trá' will be coming to TV screens this summer full of romance (as Gaeilge of course! )

Love Island-style, couples will have fun tasks, challenges and romantic moments to get to know each other and the Irish language.

The winners will aptly be crowned 'the couple with the most focal'.
