Britney's dad finally suspended from her conservatorship

He's been controlling her life for 13 years.

It's the moment fans have been waiting for - Britney Spears' father has been removed as her conservator.

Yesterday in LA, a judge ruled that he should no longer have control of his daughter's  finances.

Judge Brenda Penny said Jamie Spears remaining in charge of his daughter’s money was no longer tenable.

Jamie was appointed her conservator in 2008, after the singer suffered a series of public breakdowns.

But the hearing in LA heard the situation now reflected a 'toxic environment'.

Britney has stated that she wants the entire legal agreement to be scrapped by the end of the year.

She celebrated yesterday's verdict on 'cloud 9'.
