Blessed interview and live performance of 'A Spell Called Love'
Aidan and Oonagh in the Morning caught up with the band 'Blessed' From Co. Offaly. Tony and David have been making big waves in the Irish music industry and their single 'A Spell Called Love' was iRadio's First Play track last week.
The band got a lucky break when comedian Rory Stories uploaded a video of them doing a dance song mash up for a private gig for himself and the Mrs Browns Boys cast in Kilkenny a month ago. The video which was taken by Danny O'Carroll went viral when Rory posted it on his own Facebook page.

David Braken and Tony Cunningham are the founding members of BLESSED. David and Tony first met 15 years ago in Tullamore. They lost touch for 5 or 6 years and later got back in touch and for the past ten years have been gigging together as Blessed.
Tony says “We’ve been gigging together 10 years and since then we’ve opened for the blizzards , Aslan , le galaxy and recently opened for Vicar street for Rory’s stories 2 weeks ago.

We’ve been trying to make it big in the music industry for years and now we’re giving it our best shot yet. “
