A driver in County Meath has been arrested after taking ‘drink driving’ to a whole new level.
He was arrested at checkpoint on the R132 at Gormanstown this week.
When officers approached him, they found a half-drunk pint glass right beside the driver’s seat. They also found an 8-pack of Guinness cans safely tucked beside him in the passenger seat.
He was arrested and later charged and will appear at Drogheda District Court.
