It’s part of a major anti-fuel laundering operation.

A 40-foot trailer with so-called ‘laundering apparatus’, a truck and a tanker were seized by Revenue yesterday.

It carried out a targeted operation to stop fuel laundering in Co Monaghan yesterday.

They were assisted by armed Gardaí in the process.

A premises was raided in the Broomfield area near the Armagh county bounds.

Revenue Officers questioned a man in his 70s and investigations are ongoing.
