He didn't do a bad job of it!
One dad in the UK has gone viral after he recreated the lash salon at home for his wife and daughter.
Like many people, 20 year-old Scarlett Todhunter and her mam were left without their beloved lash extensions while in isolation. After overhearing them chat about missing that little "luxury", Scarlett's dad Phil decided to do something about it.
Scarlett told Tyla.com that her dad ordered an eyelash extension kit online and watched YouTube videos to learn the craft to a tee:
"The first time he done mine he struggled and said it was a lot harder than he expected.
"By the second time he did mine I had no lashes on whatsoever and my expectations of the results were not high at all, but he did it and managed to pull off amazing full set of lashes with basically no training."
"He really is a super dad - not bad work for a contractor!"
Her dad, Phil, even set them up in a comfortable "salon" on their couch and had a t-shirt for the occasion saying "Tod's Tatty Lashes Bar". He also played out chilled music to really make Scarlett and her mam get the salon experience.
Scarlett shared Phil's work in a Facebook post which has since got over 9,000 likes and 5,000 comments. She also thanked him, saying:
"Honestly, my dads an absolute lej and I think you’ll all agree for a second attempt, my full set (from scratch) of Russian express lashes are pretty bloody class.
"Love u dad - you are my hero"
