We're in for another cracking week.
There'll be highs of 20 degrees this week. Met Éireann has predicted another week of dry weather and sunny spells.
Here's how the next few days are shaping up weather-wise:
Monday
It'll stay dry and mostly sunny for the rest of today with highs of 18 degrees. It'll be mildest across Connacht and Munster and cooler along the east coast. Tonight will remain dry but it'll also be rather chilly with lows 1 degree.
Tuesday
Tuesday will be another mostly dry and sunny day. However, it'll be cloudier across southern counties with a few daytime showers also. There'll be the risk of a few showers across the west of Connacht towards nigh time but highs throughout the day of 18 degrees. Tuesday night will be mainly dry and clear with a chance of patchy drizzle in the west and southwest and lows of 3 degrees.
Wednesday
Wednesday will be again mostly dry and sunny with just a little cloud moving into the east by afternoon. Maximum temperatures of 19 degrees, but it will be a little cooler along eastern coasts. Wednesday night will be dry and clear in the south and west, but expect a little more cloud elsewhere with isolated drizzle or mist and lows of 5 degrees.
Thursday
There will be some mist and spots of drizzle in the morning but that will clear to give a mostly dry day. Cloud will build throughout the day with highs of 20 degrees, but it will be cooler near the coasts with light to moderate onshore breezes. On Thursday night, there'll be patchy rain or drizzle, mist and fog patches, and lows of 5 degrees.
Friday
The weather will be cloudier with isolated patches of light rain and drizzle, mainly in the west. Maximum temperatures still in the high teens with a peak of 17 degrees, with some light to moderate westerly breezes.
Weekend
The early forecast for the weekend predicts sunshine and scattered showers on Saturday with highs of 17 degrees. Sunday will be possibly wet and windy and much cooler than recent days.
