Young men are the most dangerous users of our roads, according to new research.

A new study by Aviva places e-Scooter users and cyclists as the second and third most dangerous.

34 per cent of respondents to this survey by Aviva Insurance Ireland believe young men are the most dangerous users of our roads.

However, more women than men were of the opinion that young males are the most dangerous.

E-Scooter users were deemed the second most dangerous, with more young people believing they pose a danger.

Cyclists were third, followed by older women and older men.

Another finding from the survey is nearly two-thirds of respondents didn't feel men or women were better drivers based on their gender.

However, more than half believed it did play a factor when answering the question of who is better at parking.
