Cheaper meals are being offered at a Dublin bar if customers leave their coats on.

Doyle’s Corner in Phibsborough are running the promo throughout October in a bid to cut down on heating costs.

Every Tuesday, the popular spot will give customers 20% off their bills in return for them dining in the cold.

Co-owner Ronan Flood says they’re asking people to come “chill” with them:

“We turned the heating on for the first time this week and a little piece of me died. Doyle’s Corner is a big old listed building and its really difficult to heat.

“This is a promotion in which we are inviting our guests to chill with us every Tuesday. In return for bringing your own coat, we’re offering you a discount on the food bill and we might even give you 30% off if you bring your hot water bottle.”
