Huge crowds were seen in parts of the capital last weekend which prompted a backlash from the Chief Medical Officer who described it like Jones' Road on All-Ireland final day.
Drove into Dublin City Centre to collect someone from work at 815 PM. Absolutely shocked at scenes in South Great George’s St, Exchequer St, South William St area. Enormous crowds- like a major open air party. This is what we do not need when we have made so much progress.

An extra €4m is being given to local authorities nationally to roll-out more bins and toilets for the outdoor summer.
Meanwhile, Galway City Council has made orders closing a number of routes to traffic in order to facilitate outdoor dining.
The measures will take effect from next Monday, 7 June, and will remain in place until the end of September.
