A consumer group's warning there are 'alarming flaws' in the effectiveness of some face masks.
Which? tested a range of brands and found the Adidas covering only filtered a third of particles.
The company says its product was designed early on in the pandemic, before there were defined performance criteria.
Despite this, it's been a popular option in the UK.
But Which? recommends that if you’ve got an Adidas mask, you should either trade up or use the pocket to add a filter and increase the filtration efficiency.
Harry Rose, editor of Which? magazine, says consumers need to be confident in products.
He says there needs to be more stringent regulation on minimum standards for non-medical face coverings.
